Qualifications/courses attended:

BSc (Hons) degree in Podiatry. A lot of 1-to-1 tuition with senior staff in the practice and in-house training.

Where and when did you qualify?

University of Brighton in 2009

Where do you work?

I practice in Stoke Newington every Monday, every other Wednesday, every Thursday and on rotations on Saturdays. I also hold a clinic in St Albans every Tuesday and at Hertford on Fridays.

What are your career interests?

My overall ambition is to specialise in Podiatric Biomechanics, possibly someday becoming well known in the field.

When did you join the practice?

I joined as a locum in January 2011 and was delighted to be offered a permanent post in July 2011.

What do you like best about the practice?

Since joining the practice my passion for success has only heightened. The aptitude towards clinical development is brilliant, with the in-house clinical training constantly on offer I am already seeing my own abilities develop. All the staff members are extremely friendly and approachable; every staff member is linked in to a handy messenger system that allows everyone to literally be a few keyboard taps away.

Head & Short is a fantastic working, learning and sometimes social environment that I am glad to be a part of and I look forward to many years of future success.

What do you like doing in your spare time?

My spare time was pretty much taken up with my two other passions, football and web designing, until July 2012 when I became a proud father!

I am also a massive Manchester United fan, and can you believe it, NO I am not from Manchester.

My other passion is Web Designing which is closely inter-twined with graphical design, so I have previously built websites, posters, business cards, you name it, for friends and family. I have since embarked on starting my own online web design service which is slow in developing due to time restraints but none the less, it’s coming soon.
